The star coordinator manages a caseload of up to 40 students, providing culturally-Responsive, school-Based support through individual and group meetings to ensure engagement, on-Track graduation, and post-Graduation success. This role involves building collaborative relationships with students, families, and staff while tracking academic progress and facilitating connections to various support programs.

Requirements summary

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in social work, human services, or a related field, along with experience working with teens, preferably in a school or youth-Serving organization. Essential requirements include persistence, a belief in student success, expertise in working with underrepresented students, strong advocacy and communication skills, and an understanding of black culture and systemic oppression.
