Therapeutic Education Assistant

The therapeutic education assistant will be responsible for providing classroom management in a small special education setting using techniques to promote learning and assisting the classroom teacher with duties like grading and record keeping. This role also involves providing supervision during school hours, including breaks, and implementing teacher-Developed activities while offering individual instruction to students.

Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, with an associate's degree being preferred, and should have 1-3 years of relevant experience working with children. Applicants must also be at least 21 years old, pass background, physical, and drug screenings, and have reliable transportation with a valid driver's license and insurance.
