Summer Camp Behavioral Specialist

The specialist implements behavior plans using applied behavior analysis principles to reduce problem behavior and promote positive replacement behaviors, while maintaining accurate progress documentation. They also assist in de-Escalating behavioral incidents and provide ongoing training and support to counselors on managing campers with diverse emotional and behavioral challenges.

Candidates need 1-3 years of related experience, preferably including camp experience, and an understanding of positive behavior approaches, with a desire to work outdoors with children. A bachelor's degree in a relevant field or working towards one is desired, along with registered behavior technician certification being preferred.
