Kids' Club Afterschool Assistant Teacher

The assistant teacher will be responsible for preparing and implementing weekly developmentally appropriate classes, supervising students, and creating a positive educational climate where students can learn and grow. Key duties include developing lesson plans aligned with the organizational philosophy and facilitating hands-On activities for children in transitional kindergarten through fifth grade.

Candidates must possess a minimum of an associate's degree or higher, or 48 semester college units, along with some ece units or equivalent coursework in related fields, and at least two years of childcare experience in tk or elementary settings is preferred. Essential requirements include strong classroom management, organizational skills, the ability to work as a team, and physical capacity to manage children and lift up to 50 pounds.
