  • Job Summary The Junior Kindergarten Lead Teacher for Holy Infant Catholic School is responsible for creating a nurturing, faith‑centered, and developmentally appropriate learning environment that supports the spiritual, academic, social, emotional, and physical growth of young children.
  • The Lead Teacher models Catholic values, integrates faith into daily instruction, and fosters a classroom community rooted in kindness, respect, and Christian love.

Responsibilities

  • Create a safe, welcoming, and organized classroom environment conducive to learning.
  • Establish consistent routines and age‑appropriate behavioral expectations.
  • Promote positive social interactions and guide students in conflict‑resolution skills.
  • Integrate Catholic faith, prayer, and values into the daily classroom experience.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and early‑childhood licensing regulations.
  • Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate lessons and activities that engage young learners.
  • Observe, document, and assess student progress using formal and informal methods.
  • Maintain accurate records of student development, academics, and behavior.
  • Communicate regularly, professionally, and respectfully with parents/guardians.
  • Collaborate with school staff, administration, and the JK aide to promote student success.
  • Participate in school events, professional development, and staff meetings as required.
  • Support the mission and values of Holy Infant Catholic School and the Catholic Church.
