Job description

  • Autism Center of Excellence is hiring two Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy services for pediatric clients in a daycare setting in Chesapeake, VA. This full-time role offers a consistent weekday schedule supporting young children while implementing individualized treatment plans developed by a supervising Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). RBTs work directly within the daycare environment to support communication, social development, and behavioral goals. This position is ideal for experienced RBTs who enjoy working with younger children and collaborating with educators and caregivers in a structured setting. Schedule Monday–Friday 10:30 AM – 5:30 PM or 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM Daycare-based services Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct 1:1 ABA therapy to pediatric clients
  • Implement individualized treatment plans developed by supervising BCBAs
  • Support communication, social, and daily living skill development
  • Collect and document behavioral data accurately
  • Follow behavior intervention and safety plans
  • Collaborate with supervising clinicians, caregivers, and daycare staff

Requirements

  • Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent required Certification
  • Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required

Qualifications

  • Experience working with young children preferred
