Job description
- Autism Center of Excellence is hiring a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for a consistent after-school ABA therapy schedule in Durham, NC. We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and energetic RBT to support a client through a combination of in-home and clinic-based ABA services. Position Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 ABA therapy under BCBA supervision
- Implement individualized treatment plans and behavior intervention strategies
- Collect and record session data accurately
- Support development of communication, social, behavioral, and daily living skills
- Maintain a safe, engaging, and professional therapy environment
- Collaborate with supervisors regarding client progress and treatment implementation
Schedule Requirements
- Monday: 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM (In-Home)
- Tuesday: 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM (In-Clinic)
- Wednesday: 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM (In-Clinic)
- Thursday: 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM (In-Clinic)
- Friday: 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM (In-Home)
Consistent availability during the listed schedule is required.
Requirements
- Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required
- Prior ABA or child-related experience required
- Must be comfortable working in both home and clinic settings
- Reliable transportation required
- Strong communication and professionalism required
- Must be dependable, patient, and team-oriented
- Passion for working with children with autism and developmental needs
