Camp Counselor at JCC East Bay

Camp counselors will lead groups of campers through daily activities, planning engaging sessions aligned with weekly themes, facilitating games, and supporting transitions, while ensuring a safe and positive environment. They must embody the camp spirit, act as positive role models, and assist with various tasks including field trips, setup, cleanup, and snack preparation.

Candidates must have childcare experience with children in kindergarten through fifth grade and be at least 15 years old, rising high school sophomores. Essential requirements include the ability to work outdoors in all weather, excellent communication and organizational skills, commitment to the jcc east bay mission, and the physical capacity to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
