Therapist - Head Start

The therapist provides school-Based therapeutic and consultative services to young children (Ages 0-5) with social, emotional, or behavioral difficulties within the head start setting. This role involves collaborating with staff to implement individualized interventions, coordinating community referrals, and delivering culturally competent therapeutic services to families.

A master's degree in a relevant human service field is required, though licensure is not mandatory (Registered intern pursuing licensure is preferred). Candidates need a minimum of one year of direct therapeutic intervention experience, knowledge of violence effects on children, and must meet strict background check, drug screening, and driving requirements.
