2026 Summer Learning Academy Paraprofessional

The paraprofessional assists the summer learning academy teacher in instruction and facilitating student learning activities to meet curriculum goals, fostering student success through the implementation of a shared vision of learning excellence. This role involves working with individual students or small groups to reinforce learning, assisting with assessments, and integrating technology into teaching activities.

Candidates must possess strong written, oral communication, and human relations skills, along with knowledge of effective instructional practices, especially for remedial instruction, and the ability to implement the school's curriculum. A minimum requirement is one year of successful teaching experience and an associate’s degree or 60 hours of college credits.
