Teacher, ELA Middle School

Ela teachers are responsible for establishing high academic and behavior standards, developing rigorous curricula, and delivering engaging instruction focused on reading, writing, critical thinking, and communication skills. They must also collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and families, and integrate public policy topics into the curriculum.

Minimum requirements include a bachelor's degree and demonstrated content knowledge, strong instructional skills, and effective communication abilities. Candidates must also meet at least one additional qualification, such as passing the praxis ii exam, holding a valid teaching credential, or having a degree in the relevant content area.
