Summer Camp/Seasonal Daycare Teacher

The teacher plans and implements age-Appropriate curriculum, recreational activities, and events while ensuring the safety, security, cleanliness, and orderliness of the classroom and playground environments. Responsibilities also include providing direct supervision to children and tracking participant arrival/Departure times and supply levels.

Candidates need at least six months of experience in licensed childcare or a comparable program, working under a qualified teacher or director. Educationally, this requires a high school diploma supplemented by twelve units in early childhood education, recreation, or a related field, or six units completed with enrollment continuing until twelve units are achieved.
