Preschool Teaching Assistant

The teaching assistant supports the teacher in delivering a hawaiian culture-Based education program, fostering student learning, safety, and security while maintaining appropriate ratios. Responsibilities include assisting with daily instruction, preparing materials, observing students, and serving as the teacher in their absence.

Minimum qualifications require an associate's degree in ece (Or equivalent education/Credits) plus a minimum of 6 months of related work experience, along with valid hawaii driver’s license, pediatric cpr, and food handler certifications. Candidates must possess patience, experience in maintaining a safe classroom, and the ability to implement positive behavior management strategies.
