Job description

A Certified Behavior Technician (CBT) provides direct Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to clients—typically children or adolescents with developmental or behavioral challenges—under the close supervision of a Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) or Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). The CBT is responsible for implementing individualized treatment plans designed to build skills, reduce challenging behaviors, and support meaningful progress across home, school, and community settings.

  • Implement ABA therapy programs as written and supervised by an LBA/BCBA.
  • Collect accurate, real-time data on client behavior and skill acquisition goals.
  • Support clients in developing communication, social, adaptive, and academic skills.
  • Follow behavior intervention plans to reduce maladaptive or challenging behaviors.
  • Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and client dignity at all times.
  • Participate in team meetings, supervision sessions, and ongoing training.
  • Communicate progress and observations to supervising clinician.
  • Full Time - M-F school hours
