Job description
St. Cecilia School Preschool Lead Teacher Catholic Preferred but Not Required Saint Cecilia is searching for a qualified, nurturing Preschool Lead Teacher to begin in the 26-27 school year. The candidate should be hardworking, collaborative and demonstrate a high degree of self-efficacy, holding themselves accountable for student outcomes. This candidate will be responsible for creating a structured, joyful, and developmentally appropriate classroom that supports students spiritual, social, emotional, and academic growth.
Requirements
- Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or Associate/Bachelor Degree in Early Childhood is required
- Hold an appropriate Ohio Teaching License (Professional, Permanent, or Resident Educator) or be eligible to obtain one before beginning to teach
- Previous experience with children preferred but not required
- Current satisfactory BCI & FBI background checks
- Have attended or be willing to attend a Virtus Protecting God's Children training [https://columbuscatholic.org/safe]
- Commitment to Catholic education and child-based learning
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to foster a joyful, structured, and nurturing classroom
- Practicing Catholic preferred, but not required
