Lifeguard

The primary responsibility is ensuring the health, safety, and welfare of patrons using the academy's swimming pool through constant surveillance and immediate emergency response. This includes enforcing regulations, providing emergency care until ems arrives, and maintaining proficiency in life-Saving techniques.

Candidates must possess skills in lifeguarding surveillance, rescue techniques, cpr, and emergency medical procedures, with a red cross advanced lifesaving certificate and cpr certification required every two years. A high school diploma or ged is preferred, and experience in an institutional or campus setting working with adolescents is beneficial.
