Job Summary
- The Teacher is responsible for providing high-quality, standards-based instruction to students, creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment, and supporting student academic and social-emotional growth. The Teacher designs engaging lessons, assesses student progress, and collaborates with colleagues, parents, and school leadership to ensure student success.

- Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement daily lesson plans aligned with state standards and school curriculum.
- Use a variety of instructional strategies to support diverse learning styles and needs.
- Maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Monitor and assess student performance through formal and informal assessments.
- Provide timely feedback and academic support to help students meet learning goals.
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress, behavior, and classroom activities.
- Participate in school-wide activities, professional development, and grade-level or subject-area team meetings.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for attendance, grades, and other required documentation.
- Uphold school policies, procedures, and professional expectations.
- Foster a growth mindset, critical thinking, and a love of learning in students.
- Performs other duties that may be required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field.
- Valid state teaching certification/license in the applicable subject area and grade level.
- Knowledge of instructional best practices, curriculum, and classroom management.
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
Physical Demands
- Ability to stand, walk, and actively instruct for extended periods.
- May require lifting and moving instructional materials (up to 20 lbs.).
- Visual and auditory ability to respond to classroom and student needs.
Work Environment
