Special Education Teacher - Summer only!!

The role involves delivering individualized academic and behavioral instruction to students with disabilities according to nysed standards and ieps, while creating and maintaining a safe, structured, and engaging 6:1:1 classroom environment. Responsibilities also include developing and implementing standards-Aligned lesson plans, tracking student progress via data collection, and collaborating with support staff and families.

Candidates must possess current new york state certification in special education appropriate for the grade level, or be actively pursuing it. A valid new york state driver's license is also required, along with the ability to utilize physical restraints after completing therapeutic crisis intervention (Tci) training.
