Assist with set-up, tear-down and clean-up of childcare spaces Create and maintain a safe, welcoming and engaging class for all ages Maintain classroom control through supervision and engaging activities Follow schedules as provided by Kids ministry team Understand, comply and abide by Concord’s Next Gen Safety System, FBC Employee manuals and emergency procedures Notify Kid Ministry team of any concerns related to children in class Ensure constant supervision of class with safety & developmental needs as a priority Ensure that clean toys, activities, & expectations are developmentally appropriate Duties will vary based on the age of the classroom Fulfill other duties as assigned by the Director of Preschool
Typically, a few hours a week in a classroom. Work includes but is not limited to walking, standing, walking up and down stairs, squatting, bending, carrying items up to 45lbs, getting up and down off the floor. Time will be spent both indoors and outdoors, in both quiet and chaotic spaces.
