Instructor, Practical Nursing, Clinical (Probationary Status)

Teaching assignments may cover various schedules including day, evening, weekend, and online courses, involving course instruction, maintaining office hours, advising students, and developing curriculum. Responsibilities also include leadership in nursing course improvement and serving as a liaison between clinical sites and the nursing department.

A master's degree or higher in nursing is required, though applicants pursuing an msn may be considered if completed within three years of hire. Candidates must possess a current unencumbered michigan rn license or eligibility, along with a minimum of 3 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in medical-Surgical.
