DuBois Integrity Academy (DIA) is hiring a (K-8) Assistant Social Worker for the 2026-2027 school year. DuBois Integrity STEM Academy’s academic program has two pillars that support substantial improvement in achievement: STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) combined with Blended Learning. We use theme-based, interdisciplinary, integrated curricula to facilitate instruction and learning. The Assistant School Social Worker works closely with the Director of Social Work to support student success by addressing barriers to learning, such as chronic absenteeism, behavioral issues, and family crises. Key duties include conducting home visits, connecting families with community resources, assisting with McKinney-Vento (homelessness) cases, and providing crisis intervention. The Assistant School Social Worker also promotes and supports a positive school climate and culture and collaborates to restore communication between the home, the school, and the community.
