Responsibilities
Children’s Faith Formation --- includes responsibility for all aspects of Children’s Faith Formation, including recruiting and forming catechists, organizing class schedules, supervising enrollment, tuition collection and related issues; clear and regular communication with families; making sure sacramental records are up-to-date; offering sessions for family members of the students; ordering supplies.
Liturgy Coordinator --- establish, educate and organize a group of parishioners to create meaningful liturgical celebrations, including Sunday Masses, parish reconciliation services, etc. This work is done in cooperation with the priests, deacons and Director of Music. Regular contact with ministry coordinators (e.g., Lectors, Eucharistic Ministers, Agape Ministers) and richer formation of the Art and Environment Team are required. Familiarity with Liturgical Norms is essential.
Bereavement Ministry ---supervise the group to bring comfort and assistance to those recovering from the loss of a loved one. This includes regular scheduled meetings.
Care-givers Support Group --- supervise the group to offer support to home care-givers. This could include in-person and Zoom meetings.

Qualifications
Experience and Understanding of Catholic Faith
- Be a practicing Catholic, with previous experience in a parish faith formation program
- Have a strong commitment to the Catholic faith and the desire to spread the faith
- Have a clear understanding of Children’s Faith Formation approach including methodologies, strategies, and the like
- Familiarity with Church documents and teachings in the area of faith formation and a comprehensive understanding of the nature of evangelization
- Communication and Leadership
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with clergy, staff, and other parish leaders and volunteers
- Possess a willingness to share one’s own faith journey
- Ability to be a good and compassionate leader, and maintain healthy relationships with people of all ages maintaining boundaries when necessary
- Technology and Organization
- Familiarity with technology especially as it can be used in catechesis, faith formation, or evangelization
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, collaborative, and organized
- Ability to deal with multiple projects simultaneously
Available to work evenings and weekends as the ministry might require
Education and Knowledge
- Previous experience directing some component of a Children’s Faith Formation program
- Ability to apply knowledge of stages of human development and faith formation best practices.

This position has an annualized salary range of $48,000.00 - $58,000.00. An employee’s pay within the salary range will be based on many factors including but not limited to: relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and organizational needs.
