JAG Nebraska Career Specialist - Gering Middle School

Specialists are responsible for teaching a for-Credit elective class using a project-Based curriculum to guide middle or high school students in life and career skills, ensuring full implementation of the jag nebraska model with integrity. Key duties include establishing relationships with school staff, instructing using the jag advantage, documenting student progress in jag force, and creating local employer engagement events.

A bachelor's degree is required, preferably in education, social services, or business, and the candidate must meet nebraska department of education teaching career education permit requirements within 90 days. Essential abilities include proficiency in microsoft office, the capacity to work independently, strong communication skills for various stakeholders, and maintaining professionalism while adhering to state cte requirements.
