School registered nurse (Rn)

The registered nurse is responsible for maintaining accurate student health records, conducting regular physical examinations, and administering prescribed medications according to physician orders. Duties also include managing medical supplies, recording incidents, instructing staff on health procedures, and executing medical emergency protocols.

Candidates must possess an associate’s degree in nursing and be certified as a registered nurse by nys, along with a minimum of six months of related experience or equivalent education. A key physical requirement is the ability to regularly lift and/Or move up to 50 pounds.
