Core responsibilities
The instructor will safely lead engaging gymnastics classes, providing instruction to develop participants' confidence and skills while building positive relationships with members and parents. Essential duties include maintaining equipment safety, recording participant progress, and adhering strictly to facility protocols regarding staff and child boundaries and abuse reporting.
Requirements summary
Candidates must have at least one year of experience in gymnastics or related teaching, possess knowledge of gymnastics terms and skills, and be capable of breaking down skills for teachable levels. Instructors must also be at least 14 years old and demonstrate competencies in relationship building, emotional maturity, mission advancement, safety, and critical thinking.
