Kids Camp Counselor

The kids camp counselor supports the ymca's mission by creating a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment, leading daily activities like structured games and outdoor recreation to foster youth development. Counselors must supervise campers to ensure safety, facilitate teamwork, coordinate weekly planning with colleagues, and communicate progress to parents.

Applicants must be at least 18 years old, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and possess good communication skills and a cooperative attitude suitable for relating well with children. Cpr certification is mandatory, and prior experience working with school-Age children is preferred.
