The counselor must supervise children and all assigned activities while maintaining safe, healthy, and developmentally appropriate childcare practices. This includes providing daily care, engaging children in activities, implementing positive behavior management, and ensuring facility cleanliness.
Applicants must be at least 16 years old, demonstrate maturity, good judgment, creativity, and possess previous camp or group childcare experience. Successful completion of required background checks for child and adult abuse is mandatory.
