Supported Employment Advocate/Specialist

This role involves directly supporting youth in the office of vocational rehabilitation (Ovr) program through career exploration, resume building, life skills training, and placement into competitive employment. The specialist acts as a mentor and advocate, connecting youth with employers, schools, families, and community partners while maintaining required documentation.

Candidates need a minimum of a high school diploma/Ged plus relevant experience, or higher education (Associate's or bachelor's) combined with less experience, specifically requiring at least two years working with individuals with intellectual disabilities. Reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and strong computer skills are mandatory.
