Summary of the Position

  • The Instructor assists with Supported Employment through the OVR program for the summer program. Daytime hours are required to support youth during the summer work programming.
  • Instructor will contact and meet with area employers to establish relationships.
  • Develop supportive relationships with participants.
  • Help prepare employment proposals and negotiate job opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance.
  • Assist with development of job readiness skills and interviewing skills.

This position offers flexible hours, competitive weekly pay, and activity reimbursement.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred. High School or GED required with minimum one year of paid experience working with young adults.
  • Experience in community work and knowledge of community resources.

Position requires reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and current auto insurance coverage.
