Teacher assistant (Part-Time)

The teacher assistant supports the teacher and master teacher in supervising, developing, and educating children by establishing a climate of respect and interacting positively with each child's learning process. Key duties include assisting with problem-Solving, social-Emotional development, modeling pro-Social behaviors, maintaining child records like drdp and portfolios, and ensuring a safe learning environment.

Candidates must possess exceptional oral and written communication skills and the ability to adjust focus based on changing priorities. Essential requirements include passing a fingerprint and criminal record clearance, holding current pediatric cpr and first aid certificates, having a current health screening including a tuberculosis test, and possessing a current california driver’s license.
