Substitute associate teacher

This role involves assuming responsibility for the general supervision, development, and education of children in an assigned classroom, including supervising all indoor and outdoor activities and encouraging positive habits. Essential duties cover child supervision, curriculum planning through material preparation and activity arrangement, and other support responsibilities like maintaining cleanliness and observing safety hazards.

Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, along with 12 early childhood education (Ece) units in core courses and a minimum of 50 days of classroom experience within the last two years. Successful applicants are required to pass a fingerprint and criminal clearance, hold current cpr and first aid certificates, and possess a current california driver's license, with an associate teacher child center permit being mandatory.
