Teacher Assistant - Buffalo

The teacher assistant supports instruction delivery and ensures individualized education program (Iep) mandates are met by assisting with lesson plans, data collection, and classroom activities. They are also responsible for implementing established behavior plans, facilitating home-School communication, and being capable of assuming teacher responsibilities when necessary.

Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, along with one year of experience working in an educational setting and one year of experience working with children. A new york state teaching assistant or teaching certificate is required, or must be obtained within six months of hire.
