Program Advisor

The program advisor supports students in achieving academic success within an assigned program by applying advising theories and experience, assisting them in developing individualized strategies focusing on learning, time management, organization, self-Advocacy, and decision-Making. Essential functions include demonstrating core values, engaging and supporting student progression, communicating with faculty, connecting students to resources, and utilizing technology for tracking and reporting.

The minimum education requirement is an associate degree, though a bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred, alongside 1-3 years of experience in advising, outreach, or teaching. Candidates must possess excellent communication skills, adaptability to new technologies, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
