State Univ Adjunct Unit - Department of Writing, Literature, and Language Community Faculty

Faculty members are expected to effectively teach academic writing courses at the undergraduate level, which may include courses such as writing i intensive, writing i, and writing ii. Outstanding candidates must demonstrate a commitment to serving a culturally diverse student body by delivering student-Centered education within a liberal arts framework.

Minimum qualifications require a ph.d. In rhetoric and composition, writing studies, or a closely related field, along with demonstrated ability to teach college-Level writing or first-Year composition. Applicants must also show the ability to work effectively with a culturally, economically, and linguistically diverse student population and possess authorization to work in the united states.
