Dental Assistant Instructor

The instructor will teach dent 1260 – expanded functions, covering lecture and lab instruction to prepare students to perform all functions legally performed by a licensed dental assistant in minnesota. Responsibilities include instructional planning, student evaluation, grading, maintaining safety, and keeping professional credentials current.

Minimum requirements include a bachelor's degree and graduation from an accredited dental assisting program, along with three full-Time years of verified paid work experience as a dental assistant, with one year within the last five years. Applicants must also hold dental assistant certification by danb and a current dental assistant license from the minnesota board of dentistry.
