Summer Teacher-Upward Bound/Upward Bound Math & Science

Short-Term summer teachers are responsible for overseeing the delivery of specific subjects according to grant regulations, providing instruction in core areas like math, science, english, or foreign language. Key duties include classroom management, adapting lessons for diverse learners, providing timely feedback, and promoting student academic and personal growth.

Candidates should ideally possess a four-Year degree in the subject matter they teach and have experience working with low-Income and/Or first-Generation youth. Preferred qualifications include prior teaching experience covering lesson planning, classroom management, and course delivery, as well as previous experience with an upward bound program.
