Job description
Rate or rates of pay
$1,020 per credit for undergraduate courses; $1,112 per credit for undergraduate courses after 40 credits are taught within a five-year period; $1,352 per credit for graduate courses. Any future updates to per credit rates of pay will be reflected within the electronic contract.
Job Summary
The College of St. Scholastica seeks qualified adjunct faculty candidates to support undergraduate nursing students within the simulation/lab learning environments.
Key Results/Responbilities
Team teaches assigned simulation/lab learning activities, provides technical support to meet course outcomes, following standards of best-practice, fosters a safe learning environment, collaborates regularly with faculty and staff, supports the takes-down and sets-up for the simulation/lab activities, and performs other duties as assigned. Additional orientation per course will be provided.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN).
- MN RN license.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a wide diversity of students, faculty and staff.
- Ability to complete simulation orientation and training within the first month of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
- Completed or enrolled in a Master’s Degree program in Nursing (MSN)
- Teaching experience
- Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator (CHSE) certification
- Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP)
