AmeriCorps Youth Tutor & Mentor

Members will support students' academic growth and personal development through leading structured active recess activities, providing targeted 1-To-1 or small group tutoring in literacy or math, and leading social-Emotional mentoring sessions. Additionally, they will support after-School programs, including homework help and enrichment activities, and participate in required training and service events.

Applicants must be at least 18 years old (17 with parental approval) and possess a high school diploma or ged by the start date, along with us citizenship or lawful permanent residency status. Essential qualities include a passion for education, strong organizational skills, ethics, integrity, and a commitment to safety.
