AmeriCorps After School Youth Mentor

Mentors will support students' academic and social-Emotional development by leading structured active recess activities, providing targeted academic tutoring in literacy or math, and facilitating social-Emotional mentoring sessions. They will also support the after-School program, cool school, engaging students during homework and enrichment activities.

Applicants must be at least 18 years old (17 with parental approval) and must possess a high school diploma or ged by the start date, along with us citizenship or lawful permanent resident status. Candidates must also pass a clear criminal background check and submit a current, clear tb test.
