RN - Childbirth Educator - Per Diem

The childbirth educator provides information to expectant parents and their families regarding the labor and delivery process and role adjustments after birth, including guidance for other family members. This role also involves teaching educational classes on safety and healthy environment topics with a focus on prevention measures.

Required qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in nursing, a california registered nurse license, bls certification from the american heart association, certified childbirth educator status, windows and powerpoint experience, and at least one year of clinical obstetrics experience. Two years of experience in clinical education is preferred.
