Nurse Educator

The nurse educator assists in developing patient and staff educational programs and materials while serving as a role model, teacher, and coach to enhance the expertise of nurses and clinical staff. This role coordinates, implements, and evaluates orientation, in-Service, and continuing education for clinical staff as needed.

Required qualifications include a washington registered nurse license and national provider bls certification from the american heart association, along with a minimum of three years of acute care nursing experience. Preferred qualifications include a bachelor's degree in nursing, with a commitment to pursue it if not already obtained, and prior experience in staff development or academic teaching.
