Child Development Teaching Assistant (On Call) - Child Care Service

This on-Call/Per diem position supports the overall care of children in the intergenerational learning center, often partnering with a teacher to facilitate stimulating indoor and outdoor programs. Responsibilities also include assisting with daily activities, supporting the intergenerational program, maintaining the classroom, preparing materials, and handling clerical/Record-Keeping duties.

Candidates must obtain a stars basic child care center certificate or equivalent within 30 days of hire, register in the washington stars merit system, and apply for a portable background check upon hire. A minimum of one year of experience working with children aged birth to five years is required.
