Family Support Specialist - Full Time Honolulu

The specialist provides voluntary, culturally appropriate, and strengths-Based services to families referred by the department of human services, focusing on child safety concerns for low to moderate risk cases. Essential duties include conducting home visits, assessing family needs, developing case plans, providing evidence-Based social services, linking families to community resources, and maintaining thorough documentation.

A bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, or a related human services field is required for this position. Candidates must also possess and maintain a valid driver's license, access to an automobile, and pass required background checks, including criminal and sex offender registry checks.
