English Language Learner Secondary Teacher

The ell teacher is responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons to develop students’ english language skills across reading, writing, listening, and speaking, while integrating language development with grade-Level academic content. This role also involves assessing proficiency, maintaining records, collaborating with content teachers, and implementing culturally responsive practices.

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in education, english, tesol, esl, or a related field, along with a valid teaching certification endorsed in esl/Ell or eligibility to obtain one. Required competencies include knowledge of second language acquisition, strong collaboration and classroom management skills, and the ability to create an inclusive learning environment.
