Description

At the University of Iowa Center for Advancement, our mission is to advance the University of Iowa through engagement and philanthropy. The Stewardship clerk supports our stewardship team within our Alumni and Donor Engagement department.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the execution of annual donor reports, stewardship mailings, and other customized stewardship projects.
  • Personally thank donors through phone calls and/or recorded video messages.
  • Enter and update records in database and spreadsheet applications, including event attendance and constituent correspondence.
  • Prepare event materials using Microsoft Word templates (e.g., name tags, place cards).
  • Support additional projects as needed.

Hours & Duration

  • Flexible scheduling within standard business hours (Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.), with occasional evening or weekend hours for event support.
  • Approximately 15 hours per week
  • This position will be expected to work during the summer term and will extend into the academic year.

  • Must be currently enrolled at the University of Iowa (minimum 12 credit hours).
