Behavioral/Mental Health Youth Care Worker

Youth counselors provide direct care and supervision to young women aged 13 to 18 within a residential treatment facility, focusing on helping students make real, positive changes in their lives. Responsibilities include maintaining a consistent, supportive presence, holding clients accountable, and remaining calm and focused on treatment goals during stressful situations.

The minimum requirement is a high school diploma or ged, though a bachelor's degree in fields like social work, criminal justice, education, or psychology is highly valued. Candidates must be patient, professional, and committed to showing up daily to support high-Risk youth dealing with issues like aggression and substance abuse.
