Kids Zone Counselor

The kids zone counselor is primarily responsible for the supervision and safety of assigned children, which includes taking daily attendance and planning and implementing age-Appropriate activities according to ymca policies. This role also requires clear and timely communication with parents regarding any injuries, behavior issues, or health concerns.

Candidates must be at least 18 years old with a minimum of a high school diploma or ged, and prior experience working with children aged 6 months through 12 is preferred. Essential qualities include a passion for working with children, strong communication skills, patience, and the ability to remain calm under stress.
