Patient Care Technician Training Program

The patient care technician trainee will perform delegated patient care activities under the direction of an rn, ensuring care aligns with the patient's age-Specific needs for safety and quality. Job functions include assisting with activities of daily living, limited data collection, maintaining unit supplies, patient transporting, and responding to calls.

This is an entry-Level training program that requires successful completion of a 6-Week course involving classroom instruction, skills lab, and clinical rotations, culminating in exams and a final simulation with an 80% pass rate. Candidates must provide their own royal blue scrubs, and note that this program does not qualify for the state cna exam.
