2026-2027 Paraeducator Moderate/Severe (Eligibility Hiring Pool) - Folsom

The paraeducator assists students with severe disabilities in meeting their physical and emotional needs throughout the instructional day under the supervision of an administrator and direction of a teacher. This role involves supporting the teacher with record keeping and performing instructional support duties related to developing life skills and/Or physical care activities.

Minimum qualifications require a high school diploma or equivalent, along with meeting educational requirements such as an a.a. Degree, 48 units beyond high school, or passing the district instructional assistant proficiency test in reading and math. Candidates must also be willing to complete required training and pass post-Offer requirements including background checks, tb tests, and obtaining first aid/Cpr certification.
