2026-27 Paraeducator Moderate/Severe (Eligibility Hiring Pool) - Rancho Cordova

The paraeducator assists students with severe disabilities in meeting their physical and emotional needs throughout the instructional day under the supervision of an administrator and direction of a teacher. This role involves supporting the teacher with record keeping and performing instructional support duties related to developing life skills and/Or physical care activities.

A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with the ability to pass a proficiency test in reading and math or possess an associate's degree or 48 units beyond high school. Candidates must be willing to complete required training and meet significant physical demands, including the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and physically restrain students with assistance.
